So I ordered a pair of shoe today (Sunday April 13 2008) and it should be delievered in about 5-9 business days or 3 days since they are in stock. So Will I get them by Friday, April 25 2008 in both scenarios? And how many days does 5-9 business refer to.
Business days?
Because some businesses run 7 days a week we might expect business days to mean the same as days for them. But almost always it is intended as days of a 5 day week, excluding Saturday and Sunday.
5 business days means same date next week unless there are holidays. 9 bd is about 2 weeks. Now we might wish for more precision, but a range of 5 to 9 bd is a rough estimate, and 2 weeks is barely a promise.
