Ever have to write an executive summery and just end up staring at the blinking cursor?

I have been sitting here for about 10 minutes just staring at the darn thing, any suggestions on how to get out of this? A good joke about the stock market maybe? (it is on investing on a shoe string) Help???

my university years gave me BIG headaches

ps: when that thing happened to me, and i didnt have much time left, i used to just cut and paste and edit a few words from the real essay =) and bam... my LAME executive summary
Reply:How much money have you got in your pocket? What are you going to do with it? Buy a cookie? Bad for your waisteline. Buy gas? Like that will get you very far. I know... you're going to give it to charity, right? What would I say if you could take that spare change and ____....

Reply:Getting stuck writing an executive summary involving investing on a shoe string makes "cents" to me.
Reply:My understanding of an executive summary is that it is a couple of paragraphs summing up the key points of a larger document.. I just save the longer document into another and start deleting out all the long winded explanations leaving only the key points. Then just brush over it and make it flow a little better, table the figures and there you have it.





If it isn't a summary of a larger document just cheat and Google it..
Reply:A question or a fact is always a good way to start. It gains the attention of the reader and makes them want to read on, it's the same thing with a speech. For example, starting off by saying "Did you know that a murder is commited every __ hour"
