Has anyone had the soles of their nylons or pantyhose get really dirty?

What were the circumstances? Where were your shoes and why did you take them off? How did your nylons get so dirty? Did you mind they got so dirty? Did you worry about what other people thought?





I am new to "Answers" and have asked a few questions about this because my girlfriend seems to always end up in her stocking feet. I am just curious what people think... I guess I'm not sure what to think yet! She doesn't seem to mind if she gets her feet dirty, although I am still puzzled about how dirty nylons can really get.





Please share your experiences with me so I can understand her "habit" of going shoe less.

The only time I can think of that it's happened to me is when I might step outside to carry out the trash or maybe go into the garage in my stockinged feet looking for something.





I don't nomally like to do it too often, because not only could my hose get dirty, they could also get snagged or get a runner in them.
Reply:Why where shoes when you don't have to. They are uncomfortable.
Reply:I really don't know. When I wear stuff like nylons without shoes, I usually don't really care how dirty it gets... because you know, it's your feet. They get dirty all the time.


I don't really like to go shoeless -- positively hate it. I do have friends who go shoeless in the summer/spring often, though. (They're girls) and they don't really care. I guess going shoeless is a comfort issue.
